The Opportunity

As our Security Officer, you will play a key role in shaping our members and guests experience by creating a welcoming and safe environment. Through confident and professional interactions, you will help foster a positive atmosphere while ensuring every visit is enjoyable and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by fostering a welcoming, safe, and positive environment for all patrons through effective communication.
  • Greet, assist, and build positive relationships with customers, consistently demonstrating professionalism and Canterbury's values.
  • Monitor and maintain Club procedures, ensuring compliance with the club’s protocols.
  • Assist in the effective management of incidents, including accurate documentation, reporting, and timely escalation when required.
  • Provided prompt first aid assistance to patrons and visitors, ensuring their safety and wellbeing in accordance with established procedures.

About You

  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and personal presentation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous club experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Current NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards.
  • Current Class 1A Full Security Licence.
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
