The Opportunity

As our Security Officer, you will play a key role in shaping our members and guests experience by creating a welcoming and safe environment. Through confident and professional interactions, you will help foster a positive atmosphere while ensuring every visit is enjoyable and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service by fostering a welcoming, safe, and positive environment for all patrons through effective communication.
Greet, assist, and build positive relationships with customers, consistently demonstrating professionalism and Canterbury's values.
Monitor and maintain Club procedures, ensuring compliance with the club’s protocols.
Assist in the effective management of incidents, including accurate documentation, reporting, and timely escalation when required.
Provided prompt first aid assistance to patrons and visitors, ensuring their safety and wellbeing in accordance with established procedures.

About You

Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and personal presentation.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Previous club experience is preferred but not essential.
Current NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards.
Current Class 1A Full Security Licence.
Current First Aid Certificate
Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
