*Salary:*£44,253 - £48,738 per annum (Grade 8)

*Hours:*36.66 per week

Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of delivering the national SEND* reforms in Oldham. Working within the Education Intelligence team, you’ll be using your skills (with products such as Excel, PowerBI, SQL & Fabric) on a range of analyses and projects, from dashboards to complex forecasting tools. The insights and intelligence that you produce will make a real difference to the children and young people with SEND.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce dashboards, analyses and reports for a range of stakeholders, for effective reporting and decision making.
• Develop forecasting and other tools to improve our understanding of future trends, or the impact of change programmes.
• Build relationships with colleagues across SEND and Education, but also with wider partners in health and other organisations, acting as a key adviser on issues of intelligence, insight, data collation and quality,.
• Ensure the Council fulfils its statutory and other obligations regarding data and statistical returns providing robust, accurate and consistent data and evidence.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have

• Experience of data analysis and interpreting statistical data in a large complex organisation
• Knowledge of synthesising and analysing large and complex multi dimensional data from multiple and differing sources where data is not always compatible or comparable
• Experience of presenting intelligence/insight in a range of formats to meet the needs of different audiences.
