About this role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to strengthen our compliance framework and help ensure our business operates in line with relevant legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.

You will provide practical guidance to colleagues and senior stakeholders, oversee compliance monitoring, and support a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and control reviews.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Maintain compliance policies, procedures, registers, and evidence records.
  • Investigate potential breaches, incidents, and concerns; track corrective actions to completion.
  • Prepare clear compliance reports, management information, and audit documentation.
  • Provide compliance advice and guidance to managers and operational teams.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory requests, and third-party due diligence.
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness communications.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and support the ongoing development of compliance processes.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Compliance Officer, Senior Compliance Officer, Risk, Governance, Audit, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance monitoring, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A relevant compliance, risk, legal, governance, or audit qualification is desirable.
